Anna Houpermans
I first landed in the Rogue Valley as a newlywed in 2001. After graduating from University of Oregon, my husband and I were looking for a place to put down roots. Following an invitation from dear friends to visit Ashland, we had the experience that many do when they come here. We never wanted to leave! We loved the cultural aspect that the Shakespeare Festival and the University had to offer, we were enamored with the proximity to all the outdoors activities that we love, skiing, hiking, running but most importantly, we felt the friendliness of the people. We knew we’d found our place and have come to think of Southern Oregon as a unique and special spot where culture and community interact intimately with nature. Fast forward to today, we find ourselves surrounded by three wonderful sons, several extended family members who have made the jump to Ashland, amazing friends, colleagues and acquaintances.
Educationally, my background is in the non-profit art sector, with deep family roots in home design and hospitality. My experience in these fields has collectively instilled in me the true meaning of client service and I thoroughly enjoy bringing my enthusiasm and discerning eye to the dynamic process that develops from the first look at a property to the transfer of keys.
In my quest towards becoming the best Realtor that I can be, I continue to educate myself in ways that I can better serve. I’m an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) and Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), both of which provide a more in-depth level of knowledge and education in regard to market analysis and negotiation strategy for both buyers and sellers. Currently I’m working on a home staging certificate, which will marry my love of art and design with the practicalities of selling your home.
